Ok, it’s not quite freezing. But yeah, it’s cold by SoCal standards. Meaning that we’re donning the beanies and hoodies during the day.

Summer Down

Hopefully, your summer was long, warm, memorable, and swell-y! But now, summer’s down and it’s many people’s favorite time of the year come ’round.

Sure, the water temps dip down to 4/3 wetsuit levels (sorry NorCal peeps) and the trunks get a break for the rest of the season. But that also means winter swell and mostly thinned out crowds in the lineup. Sorta.

It also means cozy hoodies, comfy fleece bottoms, and warm beverages around crackling fires.
And hangin’ with your besties.

That doesn’t sound so bad, now, does it?

Thanksgiving + Christmas

Of course, Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two heavies that anchor down all the festivities being celebrated over the next couple of months. New Year’s usually comes in with an exclamation point to punctuate the end of a year – and the start of a new one.
